COURSE DESCRIPTION
  
We offer courses for the Written (Theory) and Clinical exams separately, each specifically tailored to the needs of the target audience.
  
   WRITTEN EXAM COURSE​​

  1. The theory exam course entails 8 sessions. All topics in the PCE curriculum are covered.
  2. Each session will be about 3.5hrs in duration.
  3. Participants are provided with easy to follow topics and focus areas for each session well in advance to aid in preparation for each class.
  4. Participants are required to attend classes in person.
  5. Classes are designed to be interactive, allowing participation and reinforced learning through active engagement.
  6. Each session ends with mini-mock test involving 25-30 sample theory questions where each question is analyzed and thoroughly broken down. This helps hone in on the best strategy for selecting the most appropriate response and underscores the reasoning and expectations in correctly answering each question
  7. The final session will be a mock test comprising of 150 multiple choice questions in the exact format of the PCE, that is, vignettes and stand-alone questions. The test is then followed by a review to provide adequate feedback on performance of each candidate on the test. 
 ​ CLINICAL EXAM COURSE ​​

  1. The practical course will comprise of 8 sessions.
  2. Each session will be 3.5hrs in duration and comprise of 3 segments.
  3. The 1st segment, tagged the "Skills-segment", will involve hands-on learning and practice of key clinical skills which participants may be struggling with using various clinical scenarios until they are comfortable with same.
  4. The 2nd segment will involve mini-OSCE stations in which participants are timed and evaluated, giving a taste of the actual exam.
  5. The 3rd segment will be a feedback/debrief period in which participants learn about how they performed in the mini-OSCE series.
  6. The last session will be the final exam involving 16-stations in the same format as the OSCE exam organized by the Canadian Alliance of Physiotherapy Regulators (CAPR).
